Paging and Call Out Procedures

  1. Occasionally, Jeffco Dispatch will send informational pages about incidents in this area that may become an IMT incident. For example: “10 acre fire in Elk Creek, IA in progress.”

  • Based upon these informational pages, no action by any IMT members is necessary or desired

  • This may very well be the last time you hear about this issue from the IMT

  1. If a request is made for the Jeffco IMT, and a decision is made that the Team will respond, a page will be sent to all ICs and the C&GS

  • Based upon the response from the ICs, one will be chosen to be the IC for this incident

  • The incident IC will establish the Pre-Staging location, and time

  1. A page will be sent to all IMT members that the Team is responding and give the Pre-Staging information and a request to call the recorded phone line ( 303 271-4926 ). The answering recording may have additional information

  • If you are available for this incident, you should call the recorded line and provide: your name, availability (examples: immediately - for 2 days or tomorrow 0800 - for 3 days); and a contact phone number (cell phone)

    • Proceed to the Pre-Staging location

  • If you are not available, DO NOT CALL
